De ontkenning is will not (verkort won't)

Er zijn verschillende manieren om aan te geven dat iets in
de toekomst gaat gebeuren. De meest voorkomende zijn:
will
be going to
present continuous
present simple
future (toekomende tijd)
Hiermee geef je aan dat je in de toekomst iets van plan bent
We are going to sell the house next month.
of je gebruikt het als iets op het punt staat te gebeuren
Look at those clouds! It is going to rain.
future met 'be going to'
Je kunt 'will' ook combineren met een continuous
Je geeft hiermee aan dat je in de toekomst ergens mee
bezig zult zijn
This time next week I will be swimming in the Pacific.
No I can't. I will be having dinner with the queen then.
'will' + continuous
Soms gebruik je de present simple voor toekomst
Het gaat dan over tijden volgens een vast schema zoals
openings-, aankomsttijden enz.
Tomorrow is my birthday.
My train arrives at 8.07.
The holiday ends on 18 August.

Zoals we bij de present continuous hebben gezien kun je
deze vorm ook gebruiken om aan te geven dat je iets van
plan bent
Tomorrow I'm having a party.
The band is playing at the Arena tonight.
